Ownership and Funding

Keeping Pet is funded by Poshnee Tech, an internet marketing company with a primary focus on building reputable digital magazines.

Our Writing Process

While writing on pets, we always rely on primary resources—peer-reviewed research journals, reputable books, expert interviews, personal experiences, and guidelines of government organizations, prestigious clubs, and academic institutions. Once a writing piece is complete, it goes to the Editorial Review Board, whose responsibility is to ensure that all data points, opinions, advice, or investigations are correct and backed by trustworthy resources, in addition to vetting it for journalistic standards.

Note that we don’t offer any diagnosis of pets’ health issues, prescriptions for their treatments, or anything else that could put the life and health of your pet at risk. We may write on the health issues of pets, but the information we provide is for educational purposes only and should not be taken as a substitute for a vet’s opinion. Our articles are vet-approved, but readers still need to visit a vet’s clinic, as much depends on circumstances peculiar to each pet.
Our Quality Assurance Team is constantly on the lookout for any inaccuracy, factual or editorial errors, or any other discrepancies. Still, if there is an issue in any of our articles or a general issue with the website, you can bring the matter to our attention by writing to us at

Editorial Policy

We understand the importance of authentic content, especially when it concerns the life and health of your pet. At times, it can be pretty difficult to sift through thousands of pet websites and find trustworthy information. To cater to the pet parents’ needs and provide them with factually correct and well-researched articles, we have constituted an Editorial Review Team comprising seasoned veterinarians, ensuring that every written word is correct, factual, and backed by science and experience.

Affiliate Disclaimer

Keeping Pet is supported by its readers. Our articles may contain affiliate links—links that point to products available online. At the moment, Keeping Pet participates in two affiliate programs, namely, the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and Chewy Affiliate Program. When you purchase from those links, we do earn a commission from qualifying purchases, though the price remains the same for you. We have two aims when linking to products: One, to maintain our website and find the best talent available to bring you the content worthy of your trust. Two, to make the experience of online shopping easy and smooth for our readers, mostly pet parents. Our Product Research Team is constantly on the go to scan the online retail landscape and winnow down products that would best suit your pet. As a rule, our first priority is to always test every product ourselves, but if that is not possible due to certain reasons, we ask for feedback from users who have used the product or revert back to experts on the matter. Our process is independent, without owing anyone anything. We are consumers ourselves and would endorse only those products which we ourselves will consume. For the same reason, we have kept our affiliate interaction to only those Pet Products Suppliers that have earned for themselves a reputation among pet parents.
